It is spread over about 300 acres and has a very lovely background of a small picturesque hill. The campus enjoys immense beauty of nature and clean and healthy atmosphere. The campus is very serene and peaceful. Lavale is a small place, now getting developed as a suburb of the city of Pune. It is very close to the hub of I.T. industries located in Hinjewadi. It is well connected to the city of Pune.Bharati Vidyapeeth has prepared a blue print of the development of this lovely Lavale campus. It has appointed a very renowned architectural firm from Bangalore to prepare the campus plan. Besides this Engineering College, Bharati Vidyapeeth intends to start there, various other educational Institutions imparting knowledge and skills to the students in innovative academic programmes in the conventional as well as emerging disciplines. This campus is not intended to be only a conventional campus of any University. It will be in the shape of knowledge village wherein there will be a conglomeration of several educational Institutions provided with all the amenities needed to the students to live a fullfledged academic life will be available in the campus. We intend to develop this campus as fully residential campus. The development plan of the campus includes hostels, shopping complex, gymkhana and play grounds, club house of the faculty, entertainment area for the students, canteens, central library, internal transport and the like. |
