With a view to promote research activities and to create a research culture on its campuses, Bharati Vidyapeeth has established five specialized research institutes in the areas of Health Related Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Applied Chemistry and Social Sciences.

Bharati Vidyapeeth offers approximately 44 Under Graduate, 101 Post Graduate, 3 M.Phil 55 Ph.D, 5 fellowships, 37 diploma and 7 Certifications Courses each year in more than 23 Academic Departments.

BVDU has been re accredited with the ‘A’ grade by NAAC with CGPA 3. 16 in 2011. UGC has accorded 12B Status [UGC ACT1956] to the university Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India has ranked BVU in ‘A’ grade. The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities [AIU] which has ranked BVU among top 10 universities of India for International students’ enrollment. BVDU is also a member of International Association of Universities.

All the constituent units [29] are recognized by apex bodies like MCI, CCIM, DCH, CCH and AICTE.
